SCANDI embraces the style of West Coast spirit and is influenced by Scandinavian Architecture. Our design is a balance between appearance and functionality, culture and environment, and connection to nature. No matter the architectural style, from traditional to modern, there are six fundamental design principles that are always implemented to each project. When combined, the six elements produce a convenient living space for its user, contributing to the user's well being.
ABOUT THE PRESIDENT
Heidi Sunggiri
Heidi started her career in a practice at E9AP in Singapore after graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2011. After 2 years, she joined Chung Architects as Project Architect. Her past projects in Asia varied between custom homes, high rises, commercial buildings, to school development projects at NTU. In 2014, Heidi moved to Vancouver, Canada. In continuing her passion in architecture, Heidi joined the architectural firm Arca 3 Design Studio. While working, Heidi also enrolled and completed Building Code and Construction courses at BCIT. Heidi founded SCANDI Design in 2015 to focus on custom homes and cabin homes design. She has then completed many single-family houses and cabin houses throughout the lower mainland, collaborating with other design firms and builders, one of them being AJIA Prefab Homes.
